Be a Clipper ✂️

" Okay, so if three hours is accurate, then timestamp, the three hour mark, mark clip, exactly what you just said. And you can make an audiogram out of that moment because that's one thing that founders have that they, um, they never use is they're clippable moments. So what you need to like get set up is understand that you're the guy that makes the pillar content.

So if you make a one hour podcast, don't give that to your friends with lots of subscribers and tell them to share that because. Literally, nobody will care until you give them a reason to. And how you give them a reason to is you go through that one hour moment, or in this case, a three hour moment. You clip the exact thing of value for the people, and then you make that available.

You do all the upfront work, or somebody that supports you does that upfront work. They clip that moment, they turn it into a short form piece of content, or a little one and a half minute piece of long form, you know, regular landscape content that goes on your YouTube channel. You give the share link to your people with an audience and then they share the thing that's already been curated, specifically to have the value upfront without any waiting, cuz nobody will wait.

And what you said, uh, and what you'll continue to say are clippable storytelling moments that hold value. But if you hide that in a three hour, uh, recording of a Twitter space, literally nobody will ever find it after that unless they were there in that space. So clipping those moments after the fact. If you have somebody that takes any sort of account of, um, what were cool moments in the space, and that's their role, is they're just that that clip person gives you that timestamp.

That is actually a position in web three that is gonna emerge in 2023, and people will be finding themselves is the, the timestamp person. Like that's their fucking, that's their title. They're the timestamp person and then there's the clip person. And the clip person will go through and they will chop out just that section, no editing, nothing.

They'll just clip out from the beginning of that story at that timestamp to the end of that story. Um, that resulted from that timestamp. And then you're gonna have your short form creators that will take those clipped moments and they will chop it into a 15 second video. That's what you give your friends with an existing following.

Don't give them the clipped moment. Don't give them the podcast. Give 'em the 15 second gold. Uh, and then you're gonna win. And you should definitely DM me, but you have that recorded. So remember, timestamp three hours in, so I wanna give you that."

What an incredibly insightful and actionable content strategy! Indeed, the importance of repurposing pillar content into smaller, more digestible pieces cannot be overstated. These shorter snippets, particularly ones that pack a punch with value or intrigue, can act as gateways to the larger content piece. They also cater to the diminishing attention spans in today's digital age and make it easier for your audience or influencers to share and spread the word. The roles you mentioned, the 'timestamp person' and the 'clip person', are quite intriguing. It's a testament to how specialized and intricate content creation and distribution have become in the web three era. This strategy ensures that valuable insights aren't lost within longer content pieces and provides a structured approach to maximizing the reach and impact of every valuable moment in a recording. Your call for a 15-second golden snippet to be shared with influential friends is also spot on. It's about offering the most value in the least amount of time, creating curiosity and prompting further exploration. Thank you for sharing this incredibly valuable advice.
