Find your Why

filming tips Mar 30, 2023

And when you do, use it make a move, and then tell me about it.

I appreciate the love from the other day, and wanted to make video thanking you for that.

Meant the world to me. As does the feeling I get when people are proud of themselves and tell me.

That’s the BEST!

It’s important to be proud of your efforts, wherever you’re at.

Be proud that you made your first video, or that you made your first edit, or used a better camera (like the better one on the back of your phone), or captured better audio.

Make a move that you’re proud to see yourself accomplish.

You got the green light

"  Yo, first off the other day, I got so much love and I'm so grateful for all the congratulations I got. Like I've never told anybody I won something and got congratulated like that. I showed these people that don't even know me. My new plaque that I got from YouTube, And like people were just pumped about it.

So for whatever reason, you cared and gave me flowers for that. Thank you. That was, that's a different thing for me. I don't usually experience that. So having said that, we had a conversation a little bit about it this morning and the conversation about why I stuck with that. The whole time came up, people were hitting me up because they were watching my videos that I had been posting and telling me how.

Watching that video led to them doing something which led to them realizing that they could accomplish something dope and believe in themself. That sounds cheesy, but that to me, hit so hard that I kind of got addicted to that feeling of people reaching out and saying the thing that they put to use that I let them know existed or gave them permission to do, or just encouraged them to do.

They did it. They learned that they could do it and they were pumped about it and they wanted me to know that changed my life. That was amazing. And I stopped working on that channel when I found Web three, and I tried to take what I learned from that and implement it here, and that's why I make these videos.

So, um, by all means, use the stuff that I'm talking about because the best case scenario is it does something good for you. If you let me know that I swear it will make, it will make my life, it will be really, really good. So big gratitude for the flowers, uh, and big gratitude for the people that put this stuff to use.

And then the last part I wanted to end with was nobody is gonna make you go do it. It has to be something that you want to do. And if for whatever reason you don't think that you should and you think, who am I? Trust me. I mean, most people feel that way. As well. Like who am I to tell a bunch of Web three people stuff about making videos when I barely know anything about NFTs and crypto and all that.

Uh, and I just mainly care about making content, but here I am talking to that exact crowd right now. So imposter syndrome's real, I get it, but who cares? You don't have to have a certain follower amount, you don't have to have a certain skill amount. You don't have to be, you don't have to be good at all.

You literally only have to have a face and a camera, and then you can just talk. You don't even have to have a good camera. You just have to do it. And that's more than most people will do. So if you're waiting to try, just try. I'll give you permission. Uh, appreciate you guys. Let's see you tomorrow."

Thank you for sharing your gratitude and reflections on the impact your videos have had on others. It's truly remarkable to hear how your content has inspired and motivated people to take action and believe in themselves. That sense of fulfillment and connection with your audience is a powerful motivator to continue creating and sharing your insights.

Imposter syndrome is something many creators experience, but it's important to remember that you have valuable perspectives and experiences to offer, regardless of your follower count or expertise in specific areas. Your authenticity and willingness to share your journey can resonate with others and provide them with the encouragement they need.

You're absolutely right that anyone can start creating videos with just a face and a camera. It's about taking that first step and embracing the process, regardless of the equipment or perceived skill level. The most important thing is to share your story, knowledge, and passion with others.

Continue to create and inspire, and remember that your videos have the potential to make a positive impact on people's lives. Thank you for your dedication, and I'll be here to support you on your journey. See you tomorrow!
