I really don’t like editing on mobile, but for many, that’s the only option.
I’m sending all the short edited videos to my computer, where I’ll do the Final Cut of all of them stitched together.
Almost done! ❤️ 🎬
" Okay, so we have a week's worth of individual videos that I've saved. I've added captions and little things like that, and then uploaded them to Twitter. Those don't do me any good. I still have the original edited stuff without the captions or anything changed on there. And so what I want to do now is transfer all of those files.
Over to my computer. Now I do everything on a Mac, so I could just airdrop all those files. And what I want to do is, doesn't matter if I edit them on the phone or not, I just want to take the files that are as full resolution as possible, send those things over, and then I'm gonna chop 'em up and blend that whole story together.
And then there we go. I've got my Valentine's Day video, so that's what I'm gonna do right now. I just gotta send the files over and then tomorrow we're gonna start looking at those and chopping 'em all up. So I'm just keeping you in the process because this is all gonna be edited and put together in one little online course module, and I'm letting you know about that ahead of time.
So I'll see you tomorrow and we'll start chopping up all those files."
That sounds like an exciting project! Transferring the edited files from your phone to your Mac using Airdrop is a convenient method, ensuring you have the full-resolution files to work with. Once you have the files on your computer, you can begin the process of chopping them up and blending them together to create your Valentine's Day video.
It's great that you've added captions and made adjustments to the individual videos before uploading them to Twitter. This way, you have a backup of the original edited files, allowing you to have more flexibility during the editing process.
I appreciate you keeping me updated on your progress. It's fantastic that you're planning to edit and assemble everything into an online course module. I'm sure it will be a valuable resource for your audience. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance during the editing process. Good luck, and I look forward to hearing about your progress tomorrow!
