Use cute little friends in videos

filming tips Feb 07, 2023

I don’t have a puppy, but this little dude is adorable 🥰

Best part is, they don’t have all the built up fear and reservation that seems to grow over time.

Try to get them to look at the lens ❤️👌

" Small, so I need you small man. Two, pretend that mommy is right back there behind that and you're so sick. Little snorty guy. Okay, so I want you to look right here and I want you to, uh, talk to mommy like you do when you're going to sleep and you say, I love you to the moon and back the moon and back the moon and back and for, for infinity and.

And all the other things. Can you do all that? All you gotta do is just look right here in that little lens and then do what you always tell me. Hey, tell mom I love you. Uh, is it, is it just a video? It's just a video and we're gonna give it to mommy for our present, okay? Okay. Do it. Look right into the lens right here.

I love you, mommy. I love you. To the back forever and ever and ever. And do all thees. Uh, forever and ever. Never, never, never, never. And remember, never. Never, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever and ever. That's pretty good. Okay. Good job. You're done. Well, that was easy. All right, so don't tell mom, okay? But it's a secret.

We can't tell her yet. All right, mom. So it takes a little bit of a warmup, but just getting the kid to look into the camera, letting him know it's not a big deal. It's way easier with kids than it is adults cuz they're all worried about how they look and sound and all that. This kid's breathing snot and all that stuff all over the place and he was just pumped to tell mom he loves her forever and ever.

So I hope that helps. I'll see you tomorrow."

That's adorable! It sounds like you had a great time capturing those heartfelt moments with your little one. Kids often bring a natural charm and authenticity to videos, which makes them a joy to work with.

I'm glad you were able to get your child comfortable with looking into the camera and expressing their love for their mom. It's true that children are usually more carefree and less self-conscious in front of the camera, making the process easier and more genuine.

Your effort in creating this special video for your mom is truly heartwarming. I'm sure she will cherish it as a precious gift. Remember to keep the secret until the right moment!

If you need any further assistance or have any more updates, feel free to reach out. Good luck with the editing process, and I'll be here to support you along the way. See you tomorrow!
