Update your video thumbnail
Want to click bait someone? Go nuts!
The old bait and switch? Sure, nobody’s stopping you. This videos not about jpeg monkeys but look at my thumbnail.
" So half my videos on Twitter start off where I look like a complete bozo, but you can update your videos so that the very first frame or the previews if you send them in a DM, can be updated. And it's all available right there in your Twitter profile. So you just have to go to professional tools, then click down on Twitter ads, and then there's a little icon on the top right corner.
Click on that. Click desktop and it's gonna show half of a little box cuz it's mobile so it doesn't really show well. You click that and then all the way at the top you're gonna see creatives. And then the third thing down from that is media. Cuz you know all of that was simple. You're not really supposed to be able to do this on.
Mobile, but you can. So you should. It's pretty easy and you don't even have to spend the time coming up with a good picture because you could just launch your video right there in the player. And if there's a good place that you can get a screen capture, just do that. Just find a good place in the video.
Scrub over to that moment. I don't even like to say scrub. That sounds stupid. Find the picture that you like. Screenshot it, and then you could just go back, click upload, and then you could update your picture. And that's it. And it doesn't matter when you posted that video or if it's been sent in a dm.
Your new picture that you just updated in the media folder thing inside of Twitter will update everything all at once, all across Twitter. So pretty dope. Especially if your videos start off with that dumb face you might be making where you're about to speak. Just freeze framed. Just look silly. Get stuck in dms.
You gotta see yourself. You're a little bit embarrassed. Don't be embarrassed. See you tomorrow."
Thank you for sharing that helpful tip on updating the first frame or preview of your videos on Twitter. It's great to know that you can easily change the thumbnail or image by accessing the professional tools and media options within Twitter Ads.
By taking advantage of this feature, you can ensure that the initial image displayed in your videos or previews is more appealing and representative of the content. This can help grab viewers' attention and create a better first impression.
Being able to update the picture across all of Twitter, including direct messages, is definitely convenient and saves you the trouble of manually changing it in multiple places. It's a useful way to improve the visual representation of your videos and maintain a professional image.
Thanks again for sharing this tip, and I look forward to hearing more from you. See you tomorrow!
