I’ll show you this on the native editor on iPhones. Just click Edit and slide the arrows. You might not be an editor, but everyone can edit like this. Answer below, so YOU edit your in and out points usually?
" Do you ever see anybody start a video and at the beginning of the video there's this like weird moment before they've actually aimed the phone at themselves and start talking. And then after the video they like let it linger and then they don't change anything. They just post that video.
Well, since that was really weird, I'm gonna show you the dumbest, most basic edit ever. You're gonna use your built-in editor for the iPhone to chop off the beginning and chop off the end so that. You don't post awkward videos like the one I just showed you. All right, here we go. All right. I sped this up so we can get through it kind of quick.
Um, I'm gonna have to click the edit button at the top right corner and inevitably it'll stop on a dumb looking still of myself right there. Uh, but this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna. Drag the left arrow to a spot right before I start speaking and we can check that. We can click the play button and see if what sounds right when I start talking, adjust it as needed.
And then we literally just do the same thing to the other side. So we've trimmed our endpoint, we've trimmed our out point, and once we're happy with it, we can either save it as a new clip or we could just save the video as is, which will override the original file. I usually just save it as a new clip."
Thank you for sharing this helpful tip! Trimming the beginning and end of a video can indeed eliminate any awkward moments and give the video a more professional feel. Using the built-in iPhone editor is a simple and effective way to make these adjustments without needing any extra software. This is a great tip for anyone looking to improve the quality of their video content, especially those new to video editing. Your hands-on demonstration makes it easy to understand and follow. Looking forward to more of your tips!
