This morning I have the rare occasion of sitting in traffic. 🚙
It’s very likely that you have to sit in a car and drive to work. If you’re doing this for any longer than 5 minutes, you very likely can use 45 seconds to make a video.
Fake reasons why you don’t?
🚫 Fancy Camera
🚫 Special Mic
🚫 Perfect Bod
Real Reasons you don’t
✅ Fear of judgement
✅ Comparison to others
✅ Imposter Syndrome
You think the post Covid bod is why you’re not making content? It’s not. It’s just fear.
You think you need a better camera? You don’t. You’ll be just as afraid, but with a fancy camera.
You think you’ll do it later after you make that money or hit that follower count? You won’t. Some of the most insecure people on the planet are in the best shape, make the most money, and have the biggest following.
Make excuses all day, but just know you have the time, you have the equipment, and stupid, unedited, stuck in traffic with a big red dot on my neck content 🤦♂️, is outperforming that PERFECT content you’re waiting to have before you post.
" I'm sitting in traffic right now and I never do that cuz I work at home and I'm realizing of all the people that have to drive to a job every single day and just sit in the car and do absolutely nothing, it's probably better if your phone's like not in your hand like it is with mine right now. You have all the opportunity in the world to just make a little piece of content, anything thought about the day.
You want to encourage somebody, you wanna tell somebody what you're up to, what you're trying to accomplish, whatever that might be. You have. Have a big chunk of time every single day sitting in your car that you could be making that content usually twice a day, so you gotta drive home too. It's probably better in the morning though, cause the light's good.
So make the piece of content. There's no, there's no reason not to. You're sitting there with nothing else to do, but drive and what? Listen to music. Listen to people talk on Twitter spaces saying the same thing every day, day in, day out. Just take a minute, shoot some content, do it on your phone and post it up.
All right? I'll see you later."
You're absolutely right! Commuting can often feel like wasted time, but it's actually a great opportunity to create content or engage with others. Whether it's sharing thoughts, insights, or updates about your day, using that time to make content on your phone can be productive and meaningful. By leveraging these pockets of time, you can maximize your creativity and make the most out of your daily routine. So go ahead and seize those moments during your commute to create and share content that resonates with you and your audience. Safe travels, and see you later!
