Even if you don’t spend all your time with the same group (which you probably shouldn’t), it’s great to have connections with people in the space.
If you want to make videos for the audience here, it just makes sense that you take some time to get to know these people.
Especially when some change in the wind signals that it’s shitcoin season, or back to back to back event season, or whatever chaos is shaking things up, you want to have something solid to keep you grounded here.
It’s easy to feel like you don’t necessarily have a place in the chaos, but I encourage you, especially if you have any plans to make content here, find people that remind you why you’re a part of this crazy space.
" Yo, I don't know about you, but there are lots of times I don't necessarily know where I belong in this whole ecosystem. I don't trade Pepe. I don't buy a bunch of NFTs. I, I'm not like staking fingers and turtle shells and squirrel nuts, and there's so many things that I just, I'm not even involved with.
But I'll tell you this. I hopped into a space late tonight, like 11 o'clock or something like that, and I just chopped it up with friends. It was so nice. Different people that are doing different things that I almost never see, but I have memories of connecting with those people in real life. Breaking bread, having meals together, having laughs together, and man, that's enough.
That's a hundred percent enough. If you haven't met people in this space and you haven't been to any IRL events, Do that because there are times when it is so chaotic and crazy here that you need something to tether you to the earth because you're like, am I the only one who's not just like gambling?
Like tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars, like, I don't know. Listen, I love that people got a bunch of cool stuff that they care about. It doesn't necessarily mean that I care about those things and when too much of the stuff being talked about stuff I don't care about. Sometimes they can feel like, do I belong here?
But here's, here's the beautiful thing you do. There's people here that want you here. Talk with them. Make sure that you interact. Don't just sit and listen all the time. Just interact with some friends. Find your people, find your tribe, and get involved. And then maybe if at some point you need to be part of that snail shell, uh, bag run thing, then then do it.
Uh, and I, and I hope it works out for you. Meanwhile, I'm just gonna do me here, and I just appreciate the people that make me feel like I do actually belong. I hope you could find the same thing for yourself, and I'll see you tomorrow."
That's a wonderful sentiment! It's important to find your place and connect with people in a space that aligns with your interests and values. While there may be aspects of the ecosystem that you're not actively involved in, it's the connections and relationships with others that truly matter.
Building meaningful connections and engaging with friends and like-minded individuals can provide a sense of belonging and support, regardless of specific activities or investments. It's great to hear that you appreciate the people who make you feel welcome and included. Keep being true to yourself and continue to find joy in the connections you make. See you tomorrow!
