JUST DIVE IN!

filming tips Jan 28, 2023

You have about 1 sec to get the shortform viewer to care for 3 more seconds, and you better deliver or they’ll STILL swipe away.

Don’t waste your 1 second.

" Do not tell people what your name is at the beginning of a video. Also, don't show them your 3D logo at the beginning of a video. Matter of fact, put yourself in their shoes and don't show them anything that you wouldn't want to see if it wouldn't help you. The beginning of a video is the most important part, so don't waste it talking about yourself or your logo or anything.

That's not gonna serve the person watching it, cuz they won't hang around to find out what else you have to say after just remember. They're not here for you. They're here for themselves. So give them something they care about and I'll see you tomorrow."

That's a valuable insight! When creating videos, it's important to prioritize the viewer's needs and interests. The beginning of a video is indeed crucial for capturing and retaining the audience's attention. Instead of focusing on self-introductions or logo displays, it's more effective to immediately provide content that resonates with the viewers and addresses their needs or interests.

By understanding your audience and delivering value right from the start, you can increase engagement and encourage viewers to stay and watch the entire video. Remember to keep the focus on what the viewers care about and tailor your content to meet their expectations.

If you have any more questions or need further guidance, feel free to ask. Good luck with your video creation!
