SMILE for the camera

filming tips Jan 10, 2023

Not only are smiles infectious, but they even change your voice. If you’ve never tried smiling before you record a clip, give it a shot and post up! If it feels silly, laugh at yourself, hold the smile, and keep going

"Even though it feels stupid, always start your video with a smile. We are hardwired to like the whites of the eye and the whites of the teeth, so use what you got and smile. If you really can't, pull that smile outta nowhere. As soon as you mess up, laugh at yourself and then start going again"

That's a great tip! Starting a video with a smile can make you seem more approachable and engaging to your audience. It also helps to set a positive tone for the rest of the video. People are usually drawn to positive, upbeat energy, and smiling is a universal sign of friendliness. Also, being able to laugh at your own mistakes and carry on shows authenticity and resilience, which viewers appreciate. Keep up the good work!
