Use Shorts, and 5-10 minute videos, and podcasts. Use what YouTube has to grow on YouTube.
On TikTok use in app captions and viral music.
Don’t use Twitter to grow on YouTube and Instagram, and don’t think that platforms based on video and pictures are a great place to ask for follows to a text based platform like Twitter.
For the next 30 days I’ll be posting new videos here and flooding social media with my last 100 videos you’ve already seen.
I’ll document my efforts and findings as we go
" Hot take. If you want to grow on YouTube, don't tell a bunch of people on Twitter to follow you on YouTube. You need to grow YouTube there on that platform. Get that platform to actually care about you. And by the way, nobody cares about NFTs or Crypto for the most part when it comes to growing on other social media platforms.
If you wanna grow on TikTok, don't go there and talk about NFTs. Go on TikTok and find the things that you can get to perform on TikTok. How you want to go about that? I don't know. All I know is I talk about content creation. And I could do that on any platform, but it's why you haven't seen people from crypto Twitter post a video that gets lots of use here and then at Go work and get lots of use somewhere else.
Nobody cares. So this is my advice. Follow what I'm doing over the next 30 days. I've got a hundred videos I've banked up. I'm posting three a day. That means I'm posting to TikTok, into Facebook, into Instagram, into YouTube. LinkedIn's gonna be one too. I'm gonna post like crazy there. I'm gonna see what works and I'm gonna report back to you.
But I know one thing. I'm not gonna be talking about pictures of monkeys. I'm gonna be talking about content creation in ways that people on those platforms can use. Video so that they can grow their platform as well. I very much anticipate it being a burnout. Lots and lots of effort. Three videos a day for 30 days.
That's 90 videos times five platforms. We're probably gonna see over 500 videos posted within the next month. Wish me luck and I'll see you tomorrow."
It's important to understand the dynamics and audience preferences of each social media platform when aiming to grow your presence there. Tailoring your content to fit the platform's specific audience and trends can greatly increase your chances of success.
Promoting your YouTube channel solely through Twitter or discussing niche topics like NFTs and crypto on platforms where they may not be relevant might not yield the desired results. Instead, focus on creating content that resonates with the platform's users and encourages engagement.
By diversifying your content and posting on multiple platforms, such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, you have the opportunity to reach a wider audience and gauge what works best for each platform. Consistency and experimentation are key during this process.
Posting three videos a day for 30 days is undoubtedly a significant effort, but it can also provide valuable insights into what content performs well across different platforms. Remember to assess the analytics and feedback from each platform to inform your content strategy moving forward.
Good luck with your content creation journey, and I'm here to assist you if you have any further questions or need guidance along the way.
