Video Workflow

filming tips Apr 19, 2023

If it seems excessive to have a phone, and laptop, and desktop all playing back the content we just recorded at the same time… then the amount of editing, programs and processes that come next would blow your mind.

It’s a lot.

There are steps and layers, and multiple people each playing different roles in the creative process, including so many badass speakers we had today

"  Let's talk about video workflow. So right now I'm listening to a recording of a Twitter space. I did. I'm looking at a couple of the clips on Dropbox replay, and then I'm looking at my Streamy yard where I can go over all of the files, including Molina's, individual audio and video track, as well as my own.

And. The combination of those two things as they played out on the actual stream that was on YouTube. Now the hard part is I wanna show footage from my phone. I wanna show clips of just me and then clips of just Molina and I have to have the audio that happened at that same exact moment. Uh, I have no idea and I don't care cause I'm not leaving my house, uh, until like Memecoin season is over.

Now the fact that all of this stuff. Is always set up and waiting to make more content. It does make it a little bit easier, but it's still a big process, which is why I'm listening to one thing in one ear and another thing in another ear, and I'm gonna just have to show you how it all turns out tomorrow.

See you then."

Managing a video workflow can indeed be a complex process, especially when you're dealing with multiple sources of audio and video files. It sounds like you're utilizing various tools and platforms to handle your recordings, including Dropbox, StreamYard, and your phone.

Combining different audio and video clips from separate sources can require careful synchronization to ensure everything aligns correctly. While it may be challenging, having a well-prepared setup and being organized with your files can help streamline the process.

It's great to hear that you have everything set up and ready to create more content. By having your resources readily available, you can focus on producing engaging videos without the need to leave your house. Your dedication to continuing your content creation journey is admirable.

I'm excited to see how everything comes together in your upcoming video. Best of luck with your editing process, and I'll be looking forward to watching the final result. See you then!
